Mike Burkland joined Five9 as president and CEO in January 2008. Since then, he has built a company that has grown more than 700%, making Five9 one of the largest and fastest growing providers of cloud contact center solutions. Before Five9, Mike was the CEO of a handful of enterprise software and cloud companies. He has also led three private companies through successful acquisitions by larger public companies.

Mitchell Kertzman

Partner, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners

Mitchell Kertzman is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. He has more than 30 years of experience as a CEO of public and private software companies. Most recently, Mitchell was chairman and CEO of Liberate Technologies. Before joining Liberate, he was chairman and CEO of Sybase, Inc. Mitchell was founder and CEO of Powersoft, which merged with Sybase in February 1995.

David Welsh

Dave Welsh is a partner at Adams Street Partners. Dave has more than 15 years of investment and operational experience. Prior to Adams Street, Dave worked for McAfee, Inc. as executive vice president of corporate strategy and business development. Dave DeWalt has more than 25 years of experience building innovative, industry-leading technology companies, creating billions of dollars in shareholder value. Dave currently is the chairman of the board and CEO of FireEye, Inc. He also serves as chairman of the board at Polycom and Mandiant and is a board member at Delta Airlines and Jive Software. Previously, he held executive positions at technology companies including Oracle, EMC, Documentum, Intel, and McAfee. Dave is also a recognized authority on cyber security and was appointed in May 2011 by President Barack Obama to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Council (NSTAC).

Jack Acosta

Jack Acosta has served in a board role for multiple companies. Previously, Jack served as CFO and vice president of finance for Portal Software. Prior to Portal Software, Jack served as executive vice president and CFO as well as vice president, engineering services, integration, and business management for Sybase, Inc. Jack was also the president, COO, and a director of Tanon Manufacturing, Inc. Prior to these assignments, Jack held various management positions at Ungermann-Bass, Inc., Atari, Inc., Diablo Systems, Inc., and Ford Motor Company.

Jayendra Das

Managing Director, SAP Ventures

Jai is looking for the next-generation of iconic start-ups which are focused on cloud computing, analytics, digital media, and mobility and which are leveraging trends like "big data", "consumerization of IT," and "social-local-mobile Internet." He also leads SAP Ventures' investment activities in India where he is looking for growth stage private companies that are building on the proliferation of mobile Internet savvy Indian consumers. Previously, Jai spent seven years designing and building software applications as a lead architect and as a product manager at Oracle and at several start-ups. He was also an entrepreneur, has worked at two corporate ventures including Intel Capital and Agilent Ventures (formerly part of Hewlett-Packard), and was a Principal at MVC Capital. Jai received his MBA from University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Brown University. Jai's current investments include Alteryx, Apigee, Box, Control4, Exact Target (ET), Five9, JasperSoft, JustDial (JDIAL.NSE), MuleSoft, Newgen, One97, and Splashtop.

Kimberly Alexy is the principal of Alexy Capital Management, a private investment management firm that she founded in 2005. She has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance and investments. Kimberly is a seasoned finance professional and corporate board member. She has previously served as the senior vice president and managing director for Prudential Securities, vice president of equity research at Lehman Brothers and assistant vice president of corporate finance at Wachovia Bank. Kimberly also serves as an active board member at CalAmp Corp and has served as a board member at Dot Hill Systems, Maxtor, Smart Modular Technologies, and Southwest Water Company. Kimberly has also been recognized as 'Best on the Street' in the computer sector by The Wall Street Journal and ranked as a top equity research analyst by Institutional Investor Magazine.

Robert Zollars

Robert Zollars brings 30 years of experience building world-class enterprises to Five9. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Vocera Communications, Inc., an instant wireless communications solution provider, where he previously served as both chairman and CEO. He has previously served as CEO of Wound Care Solutions, Inc., CEO and chairman of the board of Neoforma, Inc., executive vice president and group president at Cardinal Health, Inc., and division president of four different operating units at Baxter International, Inc. Robert also currently serves as the chairman of the board for Diamond Foods, Inc., and as a board member for VWR International, LLC. He received a MBA in finance from John F. Kennedy University and a BS in marketing from Arizona State University.

Dave Samuel

Dave Samuel is managing director at Mosaic Venture Partners. Dave was president of Rogers Wave from its inception and led North America's most aggressive rollout of high-speed Internet access over cable. Dave was also a consultant with McKinsey & Company and a senior executive with Torstar Corporation. Early in his career, Dave was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co., where he executed various financial transactions.

Mr. Burdiek has served as the president and chief executive officer and also as a member of the Board of Directors of CalAmp since 2011. From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Burdiek held various positions at CalAmp, a global provider of wireless communications solutions, including president of CalAmp’s Wireless DataCom segment and president and chief operating officer. Prior to joining CalAmp, Mr. Burdiek was the president and CEO of Telenetics Corporation, a manufacturer of data communications products. From 1987 to 2003, Mr. Burdiek held a variety of technical and general management positions with Comarco Inc., most recently as senior vice president and general manager of Comarco's Wireless Test Systems unit. Mr. Burdiek holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Fullerton, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.
